Statement:
The combination of mechanically reproduced imagery or digital elements with nature or organic motifs is the way I express my feelings about life today. Human concerns seek balance between technology and nature. The repetition and layering of the motifs into a matrix or grid becomes a vehicle for creating new spatial perspectives. Structuring the grid surface connects me to remembrances of an archetypal, modernist past. Embedded in this graphic element are links to past experiences, practices and disciplines. Pixelized, made fluid and transparent by mathematical process, my spaces offer an alternative solution to the imperfections and limitations of the material realm. Memories are perfected into meaningful principals. Connections are reconstructed on the basic foundation of the grid.
